Client Alert: Urgent Verification Exercise by the Federal Housing Authority
The Federal Housing Authority (“FHA”) has announced a nationwide verification exercise for allottees of the Authority’s houses, shops, and lands. This mandatory exercise will take place from June 1, 2024, to August 29, 2024, lasting for 90 days. Allottees must present themselves at designated verification centres from 10 am to 5 pm, Mondays to Fridays.
Verification Locations:
- Abuja: FHA Head Office, No. 26 Julius Nyerere Crescent, Asokoro, Abuja
- South-West: FHA South West Zonal Office, 211 Road, Festac Town, Lagos.
- South-East: FHA South East Zonal Office, Federal Secretariat Complex, Port Harcourt Road, Owerri, Imo State.
- South-South: FHA South-South Zonal Office, Federal Secretariat, Aba Road, Port Harcourt.
- North-East: FHA North East Zonal Office, 2 Avenue, Federal Housing Authority along Timothy Shalpidi Road, Gombe, Gombe State.
- North-West: FHA North West Zonal Office, 3rd Avenue, 301 Road, Sharada Estate, Kano, Kano State.
Required Documents:
- Original Letters of Allocation
- Original Receipts of Payments
- 3 Passport Photographs of the Allottee
- Evidence of Change of Ownership (if applicable)
- Company Incorporation Documents (for corporate allottees)
- 3 Passport Photographs each for 2 Directors (for corporate allottees)
- Valid Means of Identification
- Tax Clearance Certificate
Action Required:
