CAC mandates filing of annual returns by January 1, 2024

The Corporate Affairs Commission (“the Commission or CAC”), has mandated all companies to file their pending annual returns by December 31, 2023. This is in line with Section 417 of the Companies and Allied Matters Act 2020, and non-compliance with this provision may result in penalties, applicable to the company as well as its directors and officers.
